Equality
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science aims to achieve a structural improvement in the area of equal opportunities and gender equality and to eliminate disadvantages for women in studies, teaching and research. A continuous goal is in particular to increase the proportion of women scientists at all levels so that it corresponds to the proportion of women in the total population. The measures that have been introduced are intended to shorten the long road to achieving this goal. They range from the regular recording of problems in gender equality in quantitative and qualitative terms, through regulations on recruitment procedures, to specific proposals on women's research and promotion.
