Skills profile

• a university degree (Master, Magister, Diplom) in an academic subject
• approx. 2 years of teaching experience at university level or in adult education
• at least B1 level of German
• didactic and methodological competence in online teaching.

For Academic specialised English

The Language Center of the Universities in the State of Bremen (SZHB) is looking for language teachers on an honorary basis for the coming winter semester - period October 2025 to March 2026) to teach academic and subject-oriented English (Applied Therapy Sciences - Speech Therapy and Physiotherapy; Political Management; Engineering Sciences).

Requirements:

• English language skills at level C 2 according to CEFR
• Completed academic university degree (Master's, Magister, Diplom)
• didactic and methodological skills in English language teaching (also online)
• at least 2 years of teaching experience in higher education or adult education
• German language skills at language level B1 desirable
